Shrove Tuesday in Kurtuvėnai

Shrove Tuesday is one of the most favourite traditional folk feasts in Lithuania. This festival has preserved its natural and spontaneous nature; everybody knows the process; there is no marked distance between the active characters and the audience; a lot of space for self-expression and creativity is left.
